One of the fields in which biological, synthetic and hybrid materials have found various applications is related to the medical one. The variety of materials used in medicine adapts to specific requirements and applications, due to the wide range of physical, chemical and biological properties that these materials can guarantee. The present review paper offers a short review, based on the data available in the scientific literature, on the possibility of using materials for dental application.
